Welcome to the Vintage Botanicals course.
There are five full-length lesson projects with video and printables posted here. In addition, there are ALSO Skills videos with sketchbook tips, ideas and inspiration. Sometimes the Skills video will show a technique for an upcoming lesson; other weeks it may be a stand-alone video with a sketchbook technique you can use outside this course.
Since I no longer keep an inventory of sketchbooks made from rebound vintage books, I encourage you to scan or photocopy your own book pages on sheets of ordinary cardstock. The result is a pleasant drawing surface with an old-fashioned look. If you prefer a background with less text, here’s a printable copy of an antique invoice:
