Dear friends,
In our first lesson, we’ll begin to explore the rich and eloquent language of the pencil. Throughout the coming weeks, I’ll create drawings from start to finish to share ideas and techniques with you -- if you are just beginning your drawing journey, I hope you will be inspired and informed. If you are already fluent in pencil language, I hope my drawing demos will provide some handy insights to help you in your work. Either way, remember that just as no two people have the exact same handwriting, our personal drawing styles are unique, as well. The goal is not to create a drawing that looks just like mine. The goal is to find your voice, so that you can sing your own individual song.
